Joy of Giving : Part-II Free medical camp at St Anthony's chapel, Thippasandra

There is a saying “Happiness doesn’t result in what we get , but from what we give". As a responsible citizen its a baby step taken by BTC to organize its social event, the second medical camp at  St Anthony's chapel, Thippasandra after the overwhelming response of first medical camp held earlier at Chikballapur.
The enthusiasm was seen at everyone's face, where we all reached sharply at 7.30am and the initial arrangements were made in quick session. The task were distributed equally, and each had their own responsibility to be a part of this camp. Registration, Checking Blood Pressure, Checking BMI, consulting patients, providing free medicines, managing the crowd,  photography etc. The local authorities Francis and crew helped us well by making initial arrangements, providing breakfast, managing the crowd and supported us till the end of the event. Special Kudos to them. Finally the event started with a small prayer.

As the event progresses, some curious facts has been observed. The place where the event held is a locality where most of the people were laborer’s. They work extremely hard and hence find no  time to take care of health.  Unfortunately most of the men became addicted to alcohol consumption  and it became a habit in their lifestyle which led a bad example for younger   generation . Francis and crew conducting some special classes to create awareness among children about ill effects of bad habits.
Very few patients were taking medications regularly for the illness like diabetes, BP which they found earlier whereas many patients were first diagnosed as  a diabetic patient in our camp.   Some patients know their illness in prior but dint able to take medications due to poverty hence asked us to provide respective medicines which made us excited.    Some patients especially children were well educated and spoke english fluently and enquired details  regarding medications which we provide , It made us proud that people started giving  more importance to education

.

We felt privileged to serve 300 + patients in our second medical camp. The patients were extremely delightful and thankful for the free medical camp and they requested  us to conduct for every 3 months if possible which made us to realize the importance and value of this medical camp.

This event made us to think to conduct many more social events in near future too. Apart from medical camp , blood donation, many more social awareness events has to be planned to lead the younger generation to drive in the right path. Suggestions welcome :)

Kudos to the entire team for organizing this event a great success and I am extremely proud to be a part of it. Finally we had a intro cum feedback session and shared sweets provided by ankit and left the place with extreme fulfillment and happiness.

Hope everyone felt the fragrance of joy of giving !!! Once again BTC rockz as always !!!

NAGALA TREK with CTC – “A life time experience”

A life time experience which i had on 22nd feb 2014. Yes , this is the day where my dream of trekking in nagala  become true. As usual registered for nagala trek and eagerly waited for reply. After six months of long wait this time CTC dint disappoint me. Felt very happy about it and eagerly awaited for the awesome , thrilling , exited experience which i am about to feel.
We , 23 young like-minded people  who were passionate about  trekking joined and get ready for the trek to nagala north-east. Myself and parthi reached first at CMBT sharply at 5pm itself , later joined Rajavel , Sai then comes our Prof Diwakar with Rebecca . He was very keen in getting snack items which he promised , we searched and found all but finally missed pakoda :P
We travelled all the way to Nagala and reached the base hill around 11pm. On the way had a good dinner where our organiser insisted not to use plastic sheet over the plate for our CTC members, truly inspired by the 'NO PLASTIC , GO GREEN ' theme of CTC. Then had camp fire and we went to sleep at 12am at the base hill. It was so thrill since in middle of base hill with no protection we just slept. It was the trademark of CTC where we are nature lovers and live and enjoy with the nature.

Morning we all got up at 5am itself and had taken torch light and roamed around the place to get refreshed and ready for trek. We all set and ready for this adventurous trek. The initial path itself was so confusing, where I got missed the trial and went the other way and returned to correct way , from there onwards I was keen on following the people correctly. It was such a wonderful paths all the way , feel like walking in dense forest. Nagala north-east is so greenary where water stream is found all the way right from the base hill. Approximately after 4km walk there comes rocks along the water stream , where we carefully took each and every step since some were slippery . We reached a place and decided to have breakfast. Prof. Diwakar is the photographer of our team and took photos . Emperors are famous for food. No wonder this time too it was too great food we had , poli, idly , sweet all were awesome. Then started our trekking again

We were energetic team where we reached the first water pool at 10am itself. Thought the way all were sharing their beautiful trek , bike ride , travelling , work place , personal experiences with us. It was really nice to feel that we become so close within few hours. That’s another great thing which I love about CTC. The water pool was fabulous and had a very good time over there. I enjoy very much since this pool is for non-swimmers too J  The small rocks inside the pool was a bit slippery but friends always  helped when I was in need and I am able to manage and spent some lovely time for more than half an hour.

Then comes the difficult level, travelled towards the second water pool. The path was steep and we were careful about the travel. We ensure our safety but still sometimes since the rocks were too slippery we slipped and felt into water. It is too a good experience though :P Then there was no trail all the way , we explored and travelled from now onwards, it was so thrill and fun to discover a new trail to reach our target. We finally reached the second water pool. First time I felt bad about being a non-swimmer since guys who know swimming had a great fun over there. But still I got opportunity to swim using the swimming tube once JI was so much feared to swim using the swimming tube , so first waited for some of my dudes who are non-swimmers to swim :P Later I too tried and it was such a great feeling to swim for first time using swimming tube . Thanks to vinodh for helping me all the way to swim in this water pool and I feel so easy and comfortable to swim with the help got from him. Next , I thought , by this our trekking part got over , but there comes the CTC’ians next adventure. We again used to climb high on the steep path where we find some big rocks to climb. And this time Charan helped us to climb some big rocks on the way.

Then comes the more dangerous and adventures rock climbing path. I never thought or even imagined about it during this trek, hope many too thought the same. One big wood +slippery rock surface+rope using these we need to reach our target. Many tried and made it. I tried 4-5 times but the rock surface was too slippery so I got slipped and finally gave up the plan to try. But there comes our charan , who is really enthusiastic and supportive and helped me, bharath and many others  to climb the rock using rope and reach the top. Special thanks to him J Then comes even more dangerous rock climbing , and 11 bold people alone could make it to top and see the top view of it. I am confident that next time I too will make it J

The time they travelled to peak, we started cooking for lunch. Saravanan  , Nagalapuram nizam  took the task of cooking food. Myself , maduresh , muthu , rajavel  helped him . Bharath had a great sleep meantime :P  During the cooking time we had bread and jam to gain some energy. Then we had very good lunch with hot rice and 6 variety pickle thooku. It was delicious and spicy. Then took rest for few minutes and had good talk with madhuresh rajavel and muthu. The few people who went to peak returned back and had lunch and after few minutes we started to return back to base hill.

The return path was organized so well. Ganesh, masu lead the team where Praveen was the sweeper  and Charan and vinoth ramped up the team to continue with the pace to reach the base hill before it become dark. It was planned too well where we got enough few minute rest then and there and finally reached the base hill successfully.

It was a sweet surprise that we got opportunity to see the PYTHON along the trial path. We were excited and took photos with python and we no more want to disturb it for a long time and  hence left the place soon.  We travelled around 26kms totally today . Then it was planned to reuse the plastics which we bought during the trek which was too good initiative, the remaining was collected in the trash bag. We all got settled in base hill where we had a short intro about ourselves , which were really heart-touching and really  too good . The main things they like much is  “NO PLASTICS” , “NO LIQUOR” , “ROCK CLIMBING” , “TARGET WAS ACHIEVED WHICH WAS SET” “INSISTED ON GREENARY ACTIVITES “ and awareness to participate more in “SOCIAL TREKS”. Then the account settlement happened and trek cost comes to Rs.600 per head. Then we went to the same hotel and had great dinner this time with chicken and biryani J

Then the respective cars were planned to take people  which was planned according to their place where they stay which is another great thing which I like about CTC where they ensure safety and care towards people till their reach their respective destination. Finally said good bye to each other and returned back happily.

It was such a great trek which I had in my life where I got another set of new friends in quick span of time . Sincere thanks to the organisers Masu (  Really mass you are )  and Praveen ( gethu boss neenga )  for making this a special day in my life. Also  my special thanks to charan( who helped me throught the trek )  and rajavel( for accomdation in car ). Wish to have more fun and adventours journey in the upcoming trek events too especially with Emperors. Also I ensure that will become a initiative to ‘NO PLASTICS ‘ policy and will indulge myself  in attending    more social treks and voluntary activies with CTC. Thanks a lot to all my friends. A big bye to all and wish to see all soon in the upcoming events with CTC.

Do’s and Don’ts :
  1. Always wear a very good trekking shoe with good grip which will help us a lot during trekking
  2. Try to learn swimming soon so that we can enjoy nature a lot.
  3. Always adhere what organisers say to ensure more safety.
  4. Ensure that you always travel along with your friends during the trek.
  5. Involve more in social treks and say “ no to plastics , go green”

Wow !!! What an essay writing !!!

An Exciting Day in my Life..

Introduction:
On the day 15th August 2006, it was an excited day in my life. I hope that you are so keen to ready this essay. This essay has been published in many history books and magazines. One key thing is when you read this essay you must be in patient mind.

1st Excited Matter:
I am studying in 12th std. I entered into the class room for writing physics exam. When I saw the question paper I felt very happy that because I din't know even one answer. My close friends Deepak and Richard were keenly writing. Suddenly  I thought of a idea. I called both of them at the same time. I asked them "How are you today?" They told that they were fine. Suddenly I called the teacher and told that Richard and Deepak is asking my paper. First I refused. But Richard told that he will. Kill me with his compass. Please save me teacher. Within a minute, both of them were dismissed from the school. Both of them went by crying. Arun and Abdul(class toppers)  appreciated for my boldness. I smiled before them. Both of them went with the smiling face. But they don't know that in the tomorrow exam they will be the next target for me. I smiled like Manmadhan Simbhu.

2nd Excited Matter:
After finishing the exam, I walked through the road. Near to the Don Bosco School, one huge crowd circled around the bike. I went to see that what was happen. One man said that accident has took place. I shouted the people for their fearness. I lifted one man in my right hand and other in my left hand and the other in my shoulder. I runned like a "Bullet Express" from Don Bosco School to Apollo Hospital within 20 minutes by running. All the people in the road were amazed of me. But unfortunately the doctor said that the patient was died. I felt very upset. At that time, the crowd from the accident spot came to me.

3rd Excited Matter:
Firstly, all of them looked me in a angry face. They told that the three persons were died at the spot itself. The three were the Pakistan's terrorists. Police only shooted them. Before telling this news to you, you runned away from that place. Then only I know that I am a foolish boy. The police arrested me for kidnapping the terrorists.

4th Excited Matter:
I was in the police jeep. I don't know what to do. But my aim was to escape from the police. I saw the train next to 10km. I suddenly jumped from jeep to the train like "Hrithik Roshan" in the film "Krissh". But my luck was in the train there was Shivaji film shooting. Director Shankar has seen the miracle thing. He appointed me as the stunt master in Shivaji's film. I felt very happy. In the evening news the headlines was BREAKING NEWS: "The stunt master in the Shivaji The Boss film is not "Kanal Kannan". It was the great miracle boy "Rakesh Kannan". My salary in that film was 21 crores. Down to this the amazing photo(Jumped from the jeep).

5th Excited Matter:
Seeing that news all the directors and producers from Hollywood, Bollywood, appeared before me to sign the agreement for their next film. I became more busy. Suddenly, one man coming very facst snapped at my face. I suddenly jumped out from the bed. Then only I know that all was a dream. My father shouted that come on, time is running. Wash your face and study. Then only I realized that all this miracle happened only in my dream.

Conclusion:
Dr.A.P.J Abdul Kalam has told the students to dream for a big thing. I was happy that I dreamed a very big thing. India will sure bcome a "Vallarasu Country" while Indians have dream like me.

Crazy world...

One day I was travelling in a bus. As there was so much rush I was standing. At one stop a old brahmin woman get into the bus. Since she cant stand for a long time she seek the help of the youngster who is sitting to help her by providing seat to her. They looked like rowdies as they had their hair coloured with no oil applied on it, a wrist band, chewing tobacco and spoke local madras language among themselves. They are not ready to hear to the words of that old lady. I feel pity on the old lady as one among everybody in the bus.
Fortunately one guy who is in the seat behind those rowdies, stands up and let her to sit down. I felt happy that god helps the needy in some form. After five minutes, the driver applied a sudden break as there was an sudden obstacle found in front of the bus. Everyone who is standing inside the bus lose their control. The guy who gave seat to the old lady, mistakenly fall on that old lady due to the lose of his control.
The old lady got angry and shouted at the guy like anything. She shouted, " Pommanantiya Idikarthu kaavae vandhudranunga intha thevu*** paiyanunga bus la". The guy never want to fight with this idiotic lady and got down of the bus in the next stop itself. He behaved as the true gentleman.
They are many questions arise after seeing this incident. Is it fair for that old lady to shout like this as she lost her virginity  because of  that incident made by that guy?. Is it better to behave like those rowdies who never want to see into other problems?. Is it worst to help others who never understand other problems. Wat a crazy world it is???

Anyone Conclude....

A guy named Kumar who always like to live in his own way. He got a very few friends only in his life because of his reserved nature. He studies in a good reputed institution. He always except things to happen on its own which he thinks in his mind. A close friend of him Mukesh celebrated his birthday last sunday. Kumar wished him and presented a gift to him. After two weeks, Mukesh planned to give treat to all his friends for his birthday. But he never thought of inviting Kumar to that treat. On a fine saturday Kumar asked his friend directly that ,"Mukesh, Wont even give a sweet for your birthday ah ". Mukesh assured him to give treat and asked him, "R u free ya this sunday ie., tomorrow". Since Kumar is engaged of some other work he said no. Mukesh said tat " Ok, lets give you treat some other day".
Kumar was not aware that Mukesh going to give treat for his birthday to all of his friends tomorrow ie sunday. Next day some other friends of Kumar often asking him at regular intervals that , today Mukesh gives treat for his birthday, U dint go ah da. Mukesh got upset that "Y my dear friend dint inform me this to me earlier itself"  Mukesh started thinking what might be the reason behind it.  He may be my close friend but I may not be his close friend . Or else  I may have done something bad which he dint likes. Or else its just happened mistakenly.
Whatever may be the reason behind it Kumar wasnt able to digest his friends deed. He not even slept well for a week. Also at the same time he dint like to ask regarding this to his friend. Still now Kumar fighting a battle in his mind whether to ask his friend Mukesh or not????
I narrate this  incident to describe human feelings towards true friendship. Consider u in the place of Kumar and guide him to attain a good conclusion pls....
